2023 hit everyone with a historic amount of rainfall. Factory riders showing up to do battle with the J Day crew got a first-hand look at how quickly the weather can change from Moto 1 to Moto 2. The difference this year was that the flash thunderstorms would wash away the entire track within a single 30-minute moto. The J Day crew took on the exhausting task of keeping the races moving forward, providing the racers with the best tracks possible during these unprecedented weather conditions that were relentless week after week.

How do the legendary JDay race tracks come together? Every track is different, but Crow Hill is known for going all out. Combining resources with JDay, and using their heavy equipment creates a truly unique track with everything from man-made sand sections in the woods to floaters between the trees. With that being said the pressure is on for the JDay crew to build their best track to date.

So many youth racers of the J Day Off Road Series have grown up to be champions of the pro class and then moved on to get national professional titles. Riders such as Ben Kelley, Joth Toth, and Johnny Girroir have paved the way and proved it's possible to make a living racing dirt bikes and winning on the biggest stages in off-road.
